Here we have the very essence of Goddess. She is all Goddesses, she is all women. In her generous lap is an offering bowl, fill it as you wish and she is simultaneously receiving and giving. Her womanly curves depict a mature, mother goddess, at the peak of her feminine powers.

Each day, each moment is a Blessing from the Goddess. This abundant figure kneels in silence offering back to the Great Goddess tokens of our gratitude for all we have been given. The bowl resting upon her lap awaits a daily offering from you. Each morning place something of value in the bowl, thanking the Goddess for Her many blessings. Offerings of grain, flower blossoms, a gem, a bright bit of ribbon, a poem, a small token that has importance to you. All are worthy offerings. In this way, the blessings of the Goddess will clearly be with you all the day, and your consciousness of this will guide your actions in healing and healthy ways.

In Bali, India and many other places, making Offerings are an essential part of each morning's. ritual. The practice so enriches their lives that they do not feel the isolation and sense of disconnection so often seen in the west.

The Goddess who keeps light and dark in balance. As surely as night follows day and as surely as the seasons turn, each life spirals through its seasons of darkness. Wise Black Spiral Goddess reminds us that our dark, quiet, barren periods are meant to be times of reflection, introspection and deep spiritual growth. As the seed rests in the dark earth before sprouting into the warm sunshine and quenching rains, so must we pass through the cave of the crone on our path to the joyful dawning of new enlightenment.

This delicate Spiral Goddess was designed as part of the Goddess 2000 Project, whose simple goal is to place a Goddess Shrine on every block in every city on Earth. Spiral-force or serpent force is the Goddess energy.

From deepest Prehistory onwards, the spiral was associated with horns and snakes, and symbolized dynamism, fertility and the vital magic of life. Profusions of spirals decorate ancient temples in Ireland, Malta and Mycenea, as well as countless pictographic monuments throughout the world. Here the Goddess raises her arms, invoking the spiral-power within Her. On the reverse, her arms are joined in the "drawing down the moon" gesture. A leafless tree represents the Goddess rooted in the Earth, swelling toward regeneration while bathed in the glow of waxing, full, and waning moons.

Sometimes all our efforts to bring images to the world that inspire devotion to deity seem to be not enough. Our artisans felt compelled, by the troubling nature of our times, to try to do more. This moving image was created by our artisans as a memorial to peace. A classical form goddess cradles the green man/earth in her arms. She is weeping in sorrow for war, suffering, famine, disease, religious intolerance, and harm to the environment. She tenderly embraces the earth with love for all of creation. The sorrow is great, but where there is love there is hope.

May the Goddess guide us toward peace.

Star Goddess -- Priestess of the Cosmos and Bringer of Abundance.

Deep within us, we all have the power to call upon the unlimited abundance of the Universe. With upraised arms, the Star Goddess both praises and commands the forces of the Universe through Her reverence, essence and skill. The stars on Her skirt echo the star stuff from which our bodies are made. The atoms in your body were once part of a star, you were born to shine. All life on Earth descends from the stars, and in our connection to them, we realize our divine essence.

Living with the Star Goddess is a constant reminder of your own unlimited power to create abundance in all areas of your life. Place Her on your altar, or in a place you will see Her often. Her mantra is "I am Star Shine, Abundance is Limitless".
